‘Indiscipline bane of
Nigerian league’
Mr. Cyril Ntomchukwu, former chairman, Anambra State
Referees Council, says indiscipline is the bane of
Nigerian league, which is affecting its growth.
``The indiscipline is both on the part of the clubs and
the crop of players we have; as well as total collapse
of departmentalisation which football is founded on,’’
he said.
Ntomchukwu gave this assessment on Sunday at Chuba
Ikpeazu Memorial Stadium, Onitsha after a match between
Anambra United FC Onitsha, and Rising Star FC, Akure
which ended in 1 – 1 draw.
``With the way things are going both in NFF and NPL I do
not like watching Nigerian league matches. |
