Flying Eagles return to Kaduna camp
The National U-20 men’s team, Flying Eagles resumed the second phase of camping ahead of their 2009 African Championship qualifying match against Senegal next month.
Venue is the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Hostel, Kaduna.
Head Coach, Ladan Bosso on Saturday called to camp 39 players who will battle for shirts when the Nigeria team, 2005 silver medallists at the World Cup, square up against boastful Senegal in the second round fixture of the African Championship qualifying campaign at the end of June.
The list contains 13 Members of the National U-17 team, Golden Eaglets that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the Republic of Korea in September last year.
They are: Usman Amodu, Azeez Balogun, Daniel Joshua, King Osanga, Kabiru Akinsola, Oladele Ajiboye, Yakubu Alfa, Uremu Ugbeta, Isa Sheriff, Rafael Ademola, Saheed Fabiyi, Uche Okafor and Laide Okanlawon.
Bosso has called 26 other players who measured up in the first phase of camping. These are: Lekan Abubakar (Kwara Utd), Nura Muhammad (Zamfara Utd), Austin Festus, Henry Uwadie (Insurance FC), Abdulrazak Aliyu, Dan Azumi Umar (Rancher Bees), Otekpa Enet, Kingsley Elechi, Abubakar Yahaya (Lobi Stars), Reuben Gabriel, Femi Balogun (Kaduna Utd), Yusuf Alhassan (Gombe Utd), Sunday Adams, Samson Sunday (KD Professionals), Taofeek Biobaku (Westerlo Academy), Joshua Obaje (Jigawa), Monday Daniel (Prime FC), Obiora Nwankwo (Heartland), Samuel Tswanya (Niger Tornadoes FC), Felix Kenan (Adamawa Utd), Stanley Owuachi, Monday Osagie (Bayelsa Utd), Shehu Maijama’a (Wikki Tourists), Abbey Sunday (Sunshine Stars), Abdul Umar (NAF FC Abuja), Victor Michael (Unattached).
