The PDP chieftain in Zamfara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature Nahuce has commended the state governor, Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi for the numerous achievements recorded so far by his administration in transforming Zamfara thorough the construction of feeder roads.
Nabature made the commendation while speaking to Daily Triumph in an interview, saying Governor Shinkafi’s performance within two years in office deserve to be commended.
He said Dallatun Zamfara has performed creditably in the area of massive road construction across the state, the supply of drugs to hospitals and upgrading the standard of education among others.
Alhaji Nabature urged the people of the state to support the governor to enable him succeed in the implementation of his gigantic projects in the state.
Nahuce said within the short period in office, the governor had demonstrated concern for the people of his state through the construction of roads and provision of rural infrastructure among others.
The PDP chieftain who is currently handling the construction of Nahuce- Karakai 25klm feeder road, pledged to complete the project in December 2009 if the governments settles him the contract fee.
Nahuce however appealed to the state government to provide fund for him to enable him complete the project at a stipulated period.
He noted that the completion of the project had become necessary with the approach of the rainy season so that many communities in Bungudu local government would not be cut off from the neighboring councils.
On his part, an Engineer from the ministry of works Malam Lawalli expressed delight over the speedy construction of the road and commended the contactor for the quality of the work at the site.
