ANPP vows to remain intact

ALL Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) will continue to remain one and intact as the leadership and supporters of the party are working tirelessly towards realizing its unity and progress.
Inaugurating three-standing committees of the Kano ANPP, Governor Ibrahim Shekarau, explained that despite all odds and opposition, the party was able to champion the leadership of the state at all levels in the last five years.
The governor, who inaugurated the committees at the party’s secretariat, called on the party members to continue to support it so as to maintain its remarkable successes, noting that all have played a role towards achieving the feat, hence the need to strengthen their efforts for the better.
He observed that Kano state government has been receiving the necessary support and cooperation of the leadership of the party at the national, state and local levels but said the tempo should be maintained.
On the committees, the governor commended the foresight of the party’s leadership for constituting the committees which he said are aimed at solidifying the party’s manifesto as the committees will work hand-in-hand with the leadership for maximum success.
He urged members of the three committees to discharge their duties diligently and guard their utterances, because ANPP is a responsible party that doesn’t encourage verbal attacks and unnecessary abuses on personalities, revealing that those in the publicity committee will soon undergo seminars.
In his remarks, Kano ANPP chairman, Hon. Sani Hashim Hotoro, expressed satisfaction with the steadfastness of Governor Shekarau in embracing the party at all levels.
Hon. Hotoro called on the party chairmen in the 44 local government councils to continue to support the government so that it will focus more on its development programmes to sustain the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.
The chairman explained that the constituted committees are composed of competent personalities whose contributions will propel the party to greater heights.
Also speaking, the party’s state secretary, Alhaji Rabi’u Bako, expressed delight over the leadership style of Governor Shekarau who despite his enormous office responsibilities, always has the interest of the party’s progress at heart.
The committees inaugurated are Publicity Committee under the chairmanship of Hon. Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Contact Committee on Decampees with Hon. Musa Salihu as its chairman and the Report Review Committee to be chaired by Hon. Salihu Sagir Takai.
