KNUPDA honours 31 staff

IN its efforts to reward hard working staff, Kano state Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), has presented certificates and souvenir to 31 staff.
During the occasion last week, the managing director, Alhaji Al-Mustapha D. Inuwa, said the staff were given the items so as to say thank you to them with regard to their dedication to duty.
“The staff we are honouring today are punctual to their duties because they carry out whatever assignment KNUPDA gives them with commitment.”
He said before the decision was arrived at, his authority and the board members made thorough investigations to see who deserved the honour. He called on other staff to redouble their effort so that they too could benefit from the gesture next time since the exercise is a continues one.
Some of the staff honoured included Malam Isyaku Kofar Mata, from the technical department, Malam Danladi Musa, architecture department, Malam Bashir Garba, Malam Abdu Abdullahi and Malam Yakubu Sa’idu.
Others were: Malam Bala Ibrahim, Malam Bashir Muhammad, Malam Ahmad Haladu, Malam Muhammad Sani Dakata, Malam Sammani Nasidi, Malam Muhammad Jauro, Malam Isa Gandu, Malam Aminu Ali and Malam Magaji Rogo.
The rest were: Malam Ibrahim Garba Yakasai, Malam Musa Ali, Malam Shuaibu I. Rogo, Malam Umaru Bako, Malam Ibrahim Muhammad, Malam Abubakar Abdullahi, Malam Janaidu Abdullahi, Malam Abdullahi Shuaibu, Malam Wasilu Usman, Malam Yunusa Musa, Malam Bala Muhammad Nagoda and Malam Ado Balarabe.
The remaining were: Malam Balarabe Ahmad Rogo, Malam Auwalu Inuwa Yola, Malam Adamu I. Nasidi, Malam Muhammad Ibrahim and Malam Salisu Ahmad Kura.
The chairman of the board, Alhaji Yakubu Ali Bashir, also received an award.
Commenting, the board chairman thanked the staff for their cooperation to both his board and the management, stating that the staff were honoured not because they were preferred above the others, but because of their hard-work.
He called on other staff to emulate their colleagues so that they too might benefit from the exercise next time.
Speaking, one of the recipients of the award, Malam Yunusa Musa, thanked both the management and board of KNUPDA for the award and prayed that next time more staff would benefit from the gesture.
