Hajj Operations: MAKIA
Management happy with power supply
The management of Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA)
Kano has acknowledged the cooperation of Kano Electricity
Distribution Plc for maintaining regular supply to the Airport
during the current Hajj operations at the Airport.
The newly posted Airport Manager who assumed duty in October
this year, Alhaji Ibrahim Daiyabu Suleiman made the
acknowledgement when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief
Executive Officer, Kano Electricity Distribution Plc, Alhaji
Is’haq Usman last week.

Usman Principal Manager (Public Relations) Kano Electricity
Distribution Plc.
Alhaji expressed gratitude to the management of Kano Electricity
Distribution Plc for the continuous support and cooperation the
company gives to ensure smooth operations in the Mallam Aminu
Kano International Airport Kano and pleaded for the sustenance
of such cooperation.
Responding to the new Airport Manager’s address, the Chief
Executive Officer, Kano Electricity Distribution Plc Alhaji
Is’haq Usman explained that the company regards MAKIA as one of
its valued customers, adding that the company would continue to
prioritrze the (MAKIA) due to its strategic role as ‘Kano’s man
centre port.
Alhaji Usman then commended the new Airport Manager for being
consistent in their bills settlement every month and urged him
to sustain the tempo.
The Chief Executive Officer thanked the management of MAKIA for
paying the courtesy call and for pledging to be settling their
electricity bills promptly and regularly, congratulated the new
Manager on his new posting to Kano and wish him a successful
tenure.
