Muslims urged to be God-fearing
AS Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir they have been urged to have the fear of Allah in their minds.
This advise was given by the Chief Imam of Ansar-Ud-Deen, Kano branch, Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello in his Sallah message.
Alhaji Bello also urged the Muslims, as well as all government officials to have fear of God.
He said that Islam is a religion of peace, and pleaded with all Muslims to live peacefully.
Also, the clergy told them to follow the ways and doctrines of Allah, saying, ‘’Allah is more interested in Muslims fearing him than the Rams they slaughter.’’
The Chief Imam warned all Muslims to watch their wards at this political dispensation, and not to intervene on what doesn’t concern them.
The clergy also called on Muslims not to cause chaos, collect bribe in order to vote in 2007 general elections.
He appealed to those who slaughtered rams to share with those were are not privileged to slaughter, saying that they should not do ‘’meat exchange,’’ rather they should give meat to the needy in their environment.
