NFA secretariat wears new look
The Abuja Glass House Secretariat of the NFA is wearing a new look, as the Sani Lulu led board of the association has started its renovation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the renovation which began a couple of days ago is being effected on all parts of the three story building of the secretariat located at Wuse zone seven.
NAN also reports that besides the building, the interior decoration, comprising the curtains, the furniture and other items are being replaced.
A member of the board, who preferred anonymity, told NAN that the project estimated at millions of naira was aimed at preventing the decay of the structure.
``We are just trying to restore the dignity of the NFA by making the secretariat befitting as the case in other countries,'' said the member.
The new board of the NFA which was inaugurated in August had came under strong criticisms from Sports Analysts for being inactive. But the member said the renovation project was a signal that the board was ready to go into action in the new year..
