Yar'adua apologises to Katsina people
PDP's Presidential Candidate and Governor of Katsina state, Alhaji Umaru Yar'adua, has apologised to the people.
Yar'adua said: ``If I offended anyone in the course of my eight year administration, please forgive me.''
He made the apology in Katsina on Sunday when he addressed Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir, who paid him Eid-el-Kabir homage.
The people of the state, he said, should realise that he was human and was bound to make mistakes in the discharge of his duties as governor.
The governor also called on the people not to allow politics to cause division among them.
He urged them to pray so that leaders who had the interest of the people emerged in 2007 elections.
Kabir had earlier called on eligible voters in the state to ensure that they registered.
