Yobo salutes Anichebe's five stars performance
Nigerian national team captain, Joseph Yobo has applauded the continued rise of his colleague and country man in Everton, Victor Anichebe, who netted two goals in the ir 3-0 pounding of Newcastle last Saturday, reports samm etuk.
Yobo said Anichebe is a very humble player, who is ready to learn the robes gradually and is not in a hurry. He attributed his success in such short time in his career to hard work and sterling commitment.
“Victor (Anichebe) is a young man with a great mind. He is courageous and very hard working. He will definitely move higher. I am happy to witness his progress,” Yobo told africansportsdigest.com in London.
Anichebe said the victory on Saturday was a collective effort but he is excited to go to City next week on a high. He wants to continue producing such superlative performance and does not mind that the goals were not the best way to score.
