Eagles’ Kaita weds Salisu Yaro’s daughter *As Jigawa Stars play Kano Selected Sunday
SUPER Eagles player and Sparta Rotterdam of Holland, Sani Haruna Kaita will on Sunday, January 7, 2007 hook Aishat Salisu Yaro as wife at the ancient city of Kano.
According to the programme released to Daily Triumph Sports, the wedding ceremony will take place at Sabon Titi Dandago near late Sarkin Dawaki ( Bello Dandago) house, filin unguwar Nufawa, Kano.
Former Super Eagles captain, Austin jay jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Garba Lawal, Martins Obafemi, Joseph Yobo as well as the Eagles chief coach Austin Eguavon and his assistant Samson Siasia are expected to attend the occasion.
Also expected are sports administrators, veteran players, coaches, players and well wishers within and outside the state.
Meanwhile, Jigawa Golden Stars of Hadejia will confront Kano Selected team in a friendly match as part of wedding activities at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
Kaita, a former Kano Pillars player and World Youth Soccer finalists in 2005 is already in Kano ahead of wedding ceremony.
