Electorate urged to make informed choice during elections
The secretary of Governor. Muhammad Goje, Campaign Organisation, Dr Danlami Rukujei, has urged journalists to assist electorate in making ‘’informed choice,’’ during this year’s general elections.
Speaking during an interactive session with newsmen in Gombe, Monday, Rukujei said one of the ways of doing so was to organise debates in the media for the candidates.
He said during such debates, candidates would be challenged to speak on their programmes, just as those who held elective positions in the past would be made to justify their quest for another mandate.
The secretary called on the people of the state not to allow themselves to be deceived by ‘’funky talkers’’ who had nothing to show.
Governor. Muhammad Goje is seeking for a second term as the chief executive of the state.
