Adnan tasks people on Dambatta development

THE district head of Dambatta and the Sarkin Bai of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Muktar Adnan has commended the people of the area for their concern and cooperation towards uplifting the image of the area.
He made the commendation at a send-off party in honour of Malam Atiku Saleh Dambatta on his recent appointment with the World Bank, organized by the National Association of Dambatta Students (NADS), Bayero University Kano chapter held at Murtala Muhammad library complex Kano during the week.
Alhaji Adnan also said he will continue to be proud of the people of Dambatta on their concern to the less privileged in the area especially as it regards human development, urging them to double their efforts in bringing more laurels to the area.
The district head then assured his total support and cooperation to any meaningful development initiatives that will enhance the living standard of the people in the area, and appealed to youths in the area to emulate their leaders in rendering service to the development of the area.
Earlier speaking, the chairman of the occasion who is also the acting managing director of Kano state Agriculture and rural Development authority (KNARDA), Alhaji Muhammad Badawi commended the association for organizing the reception in honour of their illustrious sons of the area who contribute to their future and appealed the upcoming youths of the area to emulate the celebrants.
He described the occasion as a challenge that will encourage the people of the area to contribute to the development of the area in all human sectors, especially as it affects education and job opportunities.
Badawi commended Malam Atiku Saleh for his assistance to the indigenes of Dambatta during his service at the Bayero University and advised him to be a good ambassador to the people of the area.
Alhaji Badawi appealed on the members of the association to give adequate attention to their students in order to fill the gap, Malam Saleh left and assured all necessary assistance to the association at all levels.
In his response the celebrant, Malam Atiku Saleh thanked the organisation for appreciating his contribution to the development of education in the area and assured his continued assistance to the area.
He also appealed to them to continue praying for Allah’s guidance in discharging his duties effective in his new assignment.
Malam Saleh Dambatta was born in 1967 in Dambatta town and attended Batta primary school 1973-1979 then proceeded to government secondary school Malam Madori, Advance Teachers College Gumel, he also atttended Bayero University Kano were he graduated with Bsc Accountancy with second class upper and worked with BUK and also holds MBA and MSC, degree married with four children.
Certificate of honours were presented to the district head of Dambatta, Alhaji (Dr.) Muktar Adnan, Secretary to the State Government, (SSG) Alhaji Abdulkarim Hassan, Professor U.G. Dambatta as well as the Permanent Secretary Establishment and Head of Service, Alhaji Muktar Usman among others.
