Kazaure Emir enjoins parents to end unwanted pregnancies

THE Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu has called on parents in the area to urgently take steps on the increasing cases of unwanted pregnancies by young girls in the emirate.
He made call while delivering his Sallah message to the people of the area, adding that the problem has reached a stage when parents must take steps to minimize the expenses of marriage, culture and tradition in the area.
Alhaji Adamu also called on them to continue to pray toward arresting the situation, adding that the emirate has launched a campaign against the social problem.
The Emir also appealed to the state government, wealthy individuals and organisations to bring to an end, the problem of taking loan with interest, describing the sitiuation as unfortunate.
On the 2007 elections, the Emir appealed to politicians in the country especially in Jigawa state to shun from violent politics in order to create mutual understanding and unity among the people.
He appealed to the youths not to allow politicians to use them to cause violence during elections and called on the people of the area to renew their voter’s registration card in order to elect credible people in the state.
