Lulu calls for dedication
NFA Chairman, Sani Lulu Abdullahi has called on Super Engle
players and their officials to be more dedicated so that
together "we can take our football to higher level in the New
Year".
In his New Year message, the NFA chairman told KICK OFF on
telephone from Abuja "that with God Almighty enabling us to see
the New Year, it is important that all hands should be on deck
in 2007 so that collectively we can make Nigeria soccer what it
should be in Africa and World Football."
He thanked the committed and patriotic members of the Super
Engle, "who answered our calls for pressing assignment last
year," and appeared to the rest to show more commitment to the
cause of lifting football which is enjoying pre-eminence ever
with FIFA.
Lulu described the high rating of Nigeria soccer as "realistic"
adding, "our target in the new year should be to ensure we work
towards reaching the height we attained in 1994 and possibly
surpass it."
He thanked his board members for their support and he expressed
the hope that, "we have men and women with vision in the board
who can take our game to the level expected of us, and possibly
beyond." |
