Naka Sai Naka to support Shekarau’s continuity

IT has been observed that since Nigeria’s independence, the country has not had it so well than the present democratic dispensation.
It is on the basis of the above that some well- meaning people in Kano state formed an association called Naka Sai Naka in support of Governor Shekarau’s administration to continue in 2007.
Secretary of the forum, Alhaji Sani Adamu Zuga who made the observation while speaking to newsmen, said the forum was formed to advance the interest of the people of Kano state.
According to him, Kano has witnessed a lot of development in nearly four years of Malam Shekarau’s government, adding that, “If he (Governor Shekarau) continues, Kano people will witness more development.
Alhaji Zuga explained that the forum has been in existence for a long, time even before the governor join, politics, stressing that the forum wants the progress of Kano, and its people.
The secretary said the forum was named Naka Sai Naka in support of Governor Shekarau’s continuity beyond 2007.
He said the forum is organising enlightenment campaign for the success of the governor through the distribution of pamphlets and media programmes, dialogue and seminars.
Alhaji Zuga observed that no any government in Kano ever gained the support of its people while its tenure is approaching to an end like the present one in the state.
He said the Shekarau administration has maintained peaceful co-existence in the state, which enables businessmen from around the country trooping into transact their businesses without fear.
