FRSC happy over accident-free festivities

THE Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) , Kano state sector command has expressed satisfaction over the accident-free Xmas, New Year and Sallah celebrations.
The state sector commander, Alhaji Ahmad Ibrahim stated this in a statement issued by the command’s head of public enlightenment, Malam Haladu Dabi, a copy of which was made available to Daily Triumph.
He observed that unlike previous years when a lot of accidents were reported, none of such cases were reported to their office during this year’s celebrations.
He hoped that the tempo be maintained.
The commander however, warned commercial motorcyclists (Achaba) to always obey traffic rules and regulations or face the wrath of the law.
He also implored motorists to continue to observe law and order so as to reduce the rate of accident on our roads.
He also called on the general public to give the staff of the FRSC maximum support and cooperation in order to save the lives and properties of the citizens.
