Mamman uplauds Buhari’s emergence as ANPP flag bearer - says it’s Devine intervention

The emergence of General Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential flagbearer on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples’ Party (ANPP),hasbeen described as a Devine intervention, capable of serving Nigeria from the mess of ineptitude and maladministration.
Making the remarks in a statement, issued to the media in Kano, a renowned political activist, Alhaji Mamman Ahmad Wapa said, Gen. Buhari is the messiah needed to heal the wound inflicted on the nation, by the PDP-led government in the country, stressing that, had the indices of good governance and clear focus were encapsulated in the nation’s body polity,the anomaly would have been rectified
“What had happened, during the recent ANPP convention was an indisputable reality, God in infinite wisdom knows that, the masses are really suffering. The nation’s democratic system needs a surgical operation to put things in perspective”,the political activist opined.
According to Alhaji Mamman Ahmad Wapa, all that the nation needs at present, is credible leadership, which is lacking for decades, saying once Nigeria is put in proper perspective, its credible image would be fully revived.
The politician lamented that, the menace of insecurity is the major bane of Nigeria as a developing world power, affirming that, once Gen. Buhari is voted into power, the scourge of armed banditry would totally be eliminated.
“No one can be sure of his safety as a citizen. One had to be forced to sleep with his one eye open. Plying the nation highways by motorist and commuters is becoming an uphill battle.
The nation is on the bricks of abyss and we need a messiah”, he stressed.
Alhaji Ahmad Wapa, who described Gen. Buhari as a dogged military officer said, by all standards, no one would ever question his impeccable leadership qualities and treasure, stressing further that, with the support of enlightened political class, the goal of securing a credible leader would ultimately be realized.
He warned the electorate against repeating the mistake of the past, by planting cabal opportunistic politicians in the corridors of power, at the time the nation is in dire need of leaders, with unblemished- record and integrity.
