Gabasawa urged to support Shekarau initiatives

COMMUNITIES in Gabasawa local government area of Kano state, have been called upon to support the laudable projects being executed by Governor Ibrahim Shekarau.
The call was made by the council sole administrator, Alhaji Bala Abdu Rogo, while receiving some Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in his office.
Alhaji Rogo also urged the NGOs to educate their people on the need to register in the ongoing registration exercise currently going on in the country.
In his address, spokesman for the communities, Malam Aminu Abdu, thanked the state government for appointing reputable people to run the affairs of the 44 local government councils.
He then assured the sole administrator of NGOs to support his administration.
In a related development, the sole administrator of Gabasawa local government council has appealed to the staff of the council to redouble their efforts towards uplifting the standard of the council.
Alhaji Rogo, who addressed the staff at the council chamber, described them as a backbone of any administration, and promised to provide them with working materials.
Also speaking, the Chief Personnel Officer of the council (CPO), Alhaji Badamasi Ibrahim Garko, promised the sole administrator that the staff of the council are ready to support him at all times.
Meanwhile, the sole administrator had promised to continue with any meaningful projects initiated by the previous administration of Alhaji Hussaini Isa Zakirai especially in areas of education health, agriculture and community development.
