...Kits fans club worth N.25m
THE management committee of Kano Pillars Football Club presented kits worth N25,000 to the executives members of Kano Pillars fans club, as part of their efforts to boost the moral of the supporters.
While presenting the kits to the Fans club, the chairman of Kano Pillars, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida, said that the management decided to provide such kits to the fans club in order to continue encouraging them as partners in progress.
Alhaji Tukur Babangida stressed the importance of fans club especially in the current football dispensation not only in the state, but the country at large, saying that the fans club is playing a vital role for the promotion and development of clubsides across the country.
He commended the Pillars’ fans club for maintain peace and stability in the last edition of the league and urged them to sustain the tempo for the progress and development sports especially football of the state.
The chairman then commended the state government for its unflinching support, financially and morally, toward the overall development of the club.
He pledged that his management will continue with open-door-policy in order to improve the standard of the team in the country.
