Emir Bayero tasks Rogo, Zarewa communities

THE Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero has tasked communities of Rogo and Zarewa in Rogo local government council of Kano state to make good use of Abdullahi Ibn Mas’ud School by providing experienced teaching staff.
The emir made the call during the opening ceremony of the school, held at the school premises at Zarewa in Rogo local government council.
He explained that qualitative teaching is the backbone of providing good education and therefore emplored the communities to continue supporting Islamiyya schools.
The emir further commended all these who contributed their quota towards the success of the school building.
In same vein, the commissioner of local government, Alhaji Musa Sulaiman Shanono, who represented Kano state government, tasked members of caretaker commitee of the school to ensure maintenance of the school properties, as well to monitor the children’s performance.
Giving a brief history of the school, the sole administrator of Rogo local government council, Alhaji Wakili Baba Ungogo, said the school was established in August 2005.
He expressed delight that it was the emir who laid the foundation stone of the school and he is now back to open it.
In his vote of thanks, the District Head of Rogo, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz, Bauran Kano, commended the state government, the emir of Kano, Aminu Dantata, and Khalifa Isyaka Rabi’u who contributed to the complesion of the school.
