According to the textile merchant, ‘’behaviour and utterances of some politicians now parading themselves as contestants for electives offices are not encouraging, most especially those of us that are in the investment sub-sector of the economy, we get frightened when we see those miscreants on the streets chanting war songs and shamelessly brandishing deadly weapons in the name of politics he stressed.’’
Alhaji Bababa, added that, as responsible personalities who are aspiring to lead others through the mandate of the people, the gubernatorial candidates of the various political parties should close ranks, understand their differences, embrace one another and introduce scientific politics into the system to realize their ambition, rather than allowing miscreants and political hoodlums to tarnish their images and create a confusion that may eventually derail the entire system.
‘’Why should these respected gentlemen that are spending their finances allow miscreant to destroy the system ? They should either act now in our collective interest or drop the idea and venture into something else”,he explained.
