Emir Bayero offers prayer for Daura emir

THE Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero has offered a special prayer for the new Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq.
The emir offered the prayer when the new emir accompanied by other members of the emirate council and paid him a visit at the palace.
Receiving his counterpart, the emir prayed for Allah’s guidance for the new emir in the discharge of his assignment.
In another development, the Emir Bayero has turbaned the village head of Danladi, Usaini Yahaya and Idris Shu’aibu of Unguwar Zaura.
Turburning the two village heads, the emir charged them to be law abiding citizens.
Meanwhile, the emir of Kano, has advised the management of public and private schools to ensure that their students use decent dress.
The emir gave the advice, while receiving staff and the students of Fahimta Nursery and Primary school who paid him a courtesy visit at his palace.
Alhaji Bayero said proper dressing among the students is important as it indicates the culture and tradition of Islam.
The Emir, who commended the decent dress of the female students, wondered why males were not using caps and therefore enjoined the public to ccopretae and support the move to promote discipline among the student.
Leading the students, Malam Iliyasu Yahaya said they were at the palace to express their appreciation on the contributions given to the school by the Emirate council, towards the development of education .
Meanwhile, the sole administrator of Nassarawa local government area, Alhaji Muhammad Jamilu Sulaiman has condoled with the Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero over the death of Danburan of Kano, Alhaji Salihi Bayero.
Alhaji Sulaiman, who described the district head as a great leader who led by example, added that his death has left a vacuum which is very difficult to fill.
He said people of the area would continue to remember his good deeds and prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest and the family to bear the irreparable loss.
