D/Kudu council to execute people
oriented projects
THE sole administration of Dawakin Kudu local government council
in Kano state, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Koguna, has pledged to
execute projects that have direct bearing on the people of the
area during his tenure.
The sole administrator made the call while receiving Imams,
elders and community leaders of the area in his office.
Alhaji Koguna explained that the projects to be given top
priority by his administration include water supply, medical
care, road rehabilitation and construction.
He also explained that he is considering the possibility of
reconstructing Kwanar Dawaki to Dawakin Kudu road.
He therefore solicited for the support and cooperation of the
entire people to achieve the desired objectives, assuring that
his office would run an open door policy.
The sole administrator also called on community leaders in the
area to mobilize the people on the current voter registration
exercise.
Responding, the deputy Imam of Dawakin kudu, Ustaz Kabiru Yahaya
and an elder, Alhaji Dan Isa appealed to the sole administrator
to provide additional land for grave yard and classroom blocks
for Islamiyya and Qur’anic schools in the area.
Meanwhile, the sole administrator has urged the entire people
and the staff of the local government to team up with his new
administration with a view to moving the area forward.
He made the call while addressing the people and staff on his
arrival at the local government.
He maintained that only through dedication and cooperation of
the staff that the administration could be able to achieve its
desired goal.
He said on his part, he would operate an open door policy and
pledged to listen to meaningful advice and complaints from the
people.
Alhaji Koguna also charged the staff to always keep their
offices clean and tidy.
Earlier, the director personnel management of the area, Alhaji
Abdullahi Nayaya Gaya had told the sole administrator that
Dawakin Kudu is a peaceful area.
He also assured him the full support of the staff so as to
achieve the desired goal.
