Brigade commander bids Emir Bayero farewell

BRIGADIER-General, MD Isah, the outgoing commander, 3 Infantry Brigade, Kano, has commended the Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero for the maximum support and cooperation he received from him when he served in the state .
Gen. Isa stated this when he paid a farewell visit to the emir in his palace, yesterday.
The commander said he was at the palace to thank the Emir for his assistance and also to inform him about his new posting to the Nigeria War College, Abuja.
He said he would also not forget the entire people of Kano for their support and commended journalists for objective reporting of the command’s activities.
Receiving the commander, Emir Bayero, who expressed appreciation over the gesture, offered special prayers for him in his new assignment.
In another development, the Emir has turbaned Muhammad Sani as the district head of Katsina in Ungogo local government area of Kano state.
The Emir, who turbaned the district head in his palace, enjoined him to be a law abiding citizen and warned him against relating with unwholesome people.
He then offered prayers to the new district head who had succeeded his father.
