Nyame nominates 3 new commissioners, 5 advisers
Governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba has nominated three new commissioners and appointed five special advisers into his cabinet.
In a letter to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, the governor named Mrs Mariyati Dogari, Alhaji Abubakar Tutare and Alhaji Sadiq Isa, as nominees for the post commissioners.
Four former special advisers, Ali Sani, Ibrahim El- Sudi, Daniel Sati and Dan'asali Biru, who had resigned their appointments to contest elective positions but lost, were re-appointed in the same capacity.
The former chairman of Ibi local government council, Alhaji Lawan Abdulkarim, was also nominated as special adviser.
The Clerk of the House, Mr Ismaila Tentason, who presented the letter today on the floor of the House, was directed by the Speaker, Mr Stephen Gbana, to invite the nominees for screening on Wednesday.
