D/Tofa SOLAD urged staff to take duties seriously

STAFF of Dawakin Tofa local government council in Kano state have been urged to be puntual in reporting to their duties promptly or face the wrath of the council.
The sole administrator of the local government council, Alhaji Safiyanu Muhammad Gafasa, handed down the warning while speaking to newsmen in his office.
The SOLAD, who described the workers as dedicated and hardworking, enjoined them to put more efforts in discharging their duties so that the council could achieve its cordinal objectives.
Alhaji Gafasa urged other local government workers across the state to emulate the good example set by Dawakin Tofa council.
The sole administrator, who spoke on the ongoing voter registeration in the area, appealed to the people to register because, according to him, it is their right to elect candidates of their choice.
He said the council has directed the entire ward and village heads to mobilize their people to register and called on husbands to allow their wives to go and register for the survival of democracy.
Alhaji Gafasa said, the council is actively promoting the development of its rural populace as a means of poverty alleviation.
The sole administrator appealed to workers in the council to redouble their efforts and give maximum support and cooperation to the council administration in order to achieve its objectives.
He reiterated the readiness of the council to improve the rapid development of the area when its financial situation improves.
On training and re-training of its staff, the sole administrator explained that the council would continue to send its staff on training in and outside the state.
Alhaji Gafasa explained that his administration would also give priority to rural transformation.
