PDP Senatorial candidate urges politicians to be God-fearing
A senatorial candidate for Kebbi Central, Alhaji Hassan Kangiwa, has advised politicians to be God-fearing in their actions and electioneering in the build-up to the April elections.
Kangiwa gave the advice yesterday, while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi, after facing the INEC verification team.
He lamented that most politicians in the country did not have the fear of God, adding that such politicians had no feelings for others while pursuing
their political ambition.
He particularly criticised those politicians who, he said, were fond of intimidating others by engaging the services of political thugs and using other anti-social measures to garner political capital.
Kangiwa, who recently defected to the PDP from ANPP, said that his defection was because the PDP had ``more pragmatic and people-centred programmes and policies.
He, therefore, expressed optimism that the PDP would win the general elections in Kebbi State.
Kangiwa urged all PDP members to refrain from any acts that could foster
the evolution of chaos and confusion in the party.
He charged the PDP members to work toward the party's victory in the
forthcoming general elections.
