ANPP flays fuel crisis
The ANPP has expressed its unhappiness over the current fuel crisis in the country and called for a drastic action to redress the situation.
The party said in a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Mr. Emma Eneukwu, that the shortage of petrol was adversely affecting national economic growth.
A copy of the statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday in Abuja, said: “For the past three weeks, Nigeria the sixth largest oil producer is suffering from acute shortage of petroleum products.’’
While advising government to end the crisis and stabilise the fuel supply situation, the party also flayed what it described as total breakdown of infrastructure in the country.
On the upcoming general elections, it urged INEC and law enforcement agencies not to allow themselves to be “used again to subvert the wishes” of the electorate.
Similarly, the ANPP called on Nigerians to elect credible candidates being presented by the party for the polls to turn around the socio-economic and political fortunes of the country.
It expressed optimism that the party would exploit PDP’s flaws for its victory at all levels of government.
