Emir Bayero tasks Kumbotso council

THE Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero has tasked Kumbotso local government council and Kumbotso Juma’at Mosque, Committee to ensure its effective maintenance.
The emir, who described mosque a place of worship, stressed the need for the community to also contribute their quota towards preventing the mosque from collapsing.
Alhaji Bayero, who was at the opening ceremony of Kumbotso Juma’at mosque, said it was five years when they were in Kumbotso to officially launch of the mosque construction, and with Allah’s blessing, they are back to commission it.
He then commended the state and local governments and all these who contributed to the completion of the mosque.
In his speech, the chairman of the mosque committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Sa’idu said over N21 million was spent on the construction projects.
In a vote of thanks, the district head of Kumbotso, Alhaji Ahmad Ado Bayero, Dan Lawan Kano, commended all the invited guests and those that contributed towards the completion of the mosque.
