Gwale council boss advises workers

WORKERS of Gwale local government council in Kano state have been advised to support the council’s administration towards achieving its cardinal objectives.
The sole administrator of the council, Alhaji Garba Usman Bichi gave the advice in an interview with Daily Triumph correspondent in his office over the weekend.
Alhaji Bichi also enjoined the workers to put move efforts in discharging their duties, warning that the council would not condone laziness and absenteeism from duty.
He appealed to the workers to redouble their effort as according to him, his administration is doing everything to improve their welfare.
On youths empowerment, the sole administrator said effort is being intensified by the council to create job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the area.
The administrator urged youths to exercise patience as the local council is actively executing viable projects that would promote the socio-economic well-being of the rural communities and further appealed to them to put all hands on deck to ensure the success of the administration.
On the ongoing voter registration exercise in the area, the sole administrator has set up a 10-man committee headed by ward heads and workers with a view to ensuring the success of the exercise in the area.
Alhaji Bichi, who scores high the administration of Governor Ibrahim Shekarau in the history of Kano state, commended his government for its firm commitment in promoting the lives of the rural communities in the state.
The SOLAD, who observed that youths as tools of nation building , should, work closely with the council to move the area forward.
The sole administrator also distributed over 30 bags of millets and maize to the less privileged in the area to alleviate their sufferings.
