assessment tour on the projects executed by local government
councils in the country.
The chairman of the committee, Prof. Ibrahim Ayagi, who revealed

allocated to the local government councils and the committee
found it necessary to see things on the ground.
“We view that a lot of resources have been allocated to the
local councils what do they do with these resources we will like
to see“, he emphasized.
“We have seen other areas and reported to Mr. President about
the local governments and the resources allocated to them and
what do they do with them“.
Prof. Ayagi explained that although under the decree that set up
the committee it is not its jurisdiction to assess local
governments, but the assessment tour was approved by the
Presidency.

the committee told a meeting of local government council
chairmen that the assessment tour will focus on health, water
