Makoda SOLAD commends Shekarau’s commitment to devlpt

THE sole administrator of Makoda local government area, Alhaji Ali Wada has described Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s administration as an administration that is committed toward the betterment of its people.
Alhaji Wada stated this when the state Zakat and Hubsi commission gave out Zakat of N5, 000 each to 1,000 disabled persons in the area.
According to him, this is the second time the commission visited the local government to give out adding that last time, 500 disabled benefited, explaining that the gesture is a clear testimony to the government’s human development programmes.
He prayed to Almighty’s to grant the Kano state governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau the wisdom to continue with these laudable projects he initiated.
The sole administrator maintained that the council on its part, will do all it can to assist the disabled in the area.
He also revealed that his administration would give priority to education, because it is the back bone of any development, ‘’we will also give priority to health where we have already indicated our commitment,’’ he said.
Alhaji Wada also revealed that his administration would execute projects that will empower the people which are in line with the state government.
He solicited for the cooperation of the people towards the upliftment of the area, calling on politicians to conduct their political activities peacefully.
Earlier speaking, the chairman of Zakat, Makoda local government, Malam Hashimu Abdurrahim had said that it is the happiest day for all the people of Makoda to witness the event.
In another development, the sole administrator of Makoda local government, Alhaji Ali Wada has visited less privileged house, Gidan Gajiyayyu in the area which is located at Dambatta where presented special food items to them to mark the celebration of new Islamic year.
