Vogts to earn N6.5m monthly
New Super Eagles Manager, German born Berti Vogts, is to earn the sum of fifty thousand United States dollars ($50, 000) or N6.5m as monthly salary in the course of his four-year contract with the Nigeria Football Association, NFA, reports Nigeriasportsonline.
This was revealed to Nigeriansportsonline Tuesday after the NFA board meeting in Abuja by NFA chairman, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdulahi.
“Berti Vogts is to be on contract with NFA for a period of four years as Super Eagles Manager”, Lulu told Nigeriansportsonline after the meeting.
“Within the period, Vogts will be paid the sum of fifty thousand United States dollars ($50,000) or N6.5m as monthly salary.”
Lulu said the German has assured that the Super Eagles will go to the South Africa 2010 World Cup.
“Berti Vogts has assured that the Super Eagles will pick the ticket to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. He said he would quit in 2009 if the Eagles fail to pick the ticket to the World Cup”.
