Ketare, Tishama communities cry for help
By BALA ABUBAKAR

KETARE and Tishama communities in Nassarawa local government area of Kano state have appealed to Nassarawa local government sole administrator to provide them with a new transformer in order to ease power outage in the area.
Spokesman of the communities, Malam Auwalu Garba made the plea while speaking to Daily Triumph in an exclusive interview in Kano.
He said the people of the area for over two weeks now are living in darkness due to lack of electricity supply.
The communities, he said, have made several appeals to the previous administration to provide them with a new transformer but to no avail.
Garba also reminded the newly appointed sole administrator of the previous administration’s pledge to provide the communities with the new transformer.
The spokesman, who scored the leadership of Governor Shekarau high in the state, urged the SOLAD to view their complaints seriously with a view to addressing the situation.
Since the previous administration refused to fulfill its earlier pledge to the communities, he added, ‘’we are now appealing to the sole administrator to use his good office and provide us a new transformer since the one we are using is old, and could not supply all the communities with electricity due to its delapidated structure’’.
