Lawmaker tasks Fagge North on voter registration
By ALIYU YUSUF

PEOPLE of Rijiyar Lemo, Kwachiri and ‘Yanmata wards of Fagge north in Fagge local government council of Kano state have been called upon to ensure that they obtain their voter’s card before the end of this month.
The call was made by Hon. Muhammad Idris Ayiye, member representing Fagge constituency in the Kano state House of Assembly, when he received the members of Fagge North Development Association on a courtesy visit to the Assembly complex, Wednesday.
Hon. Ayiye further called on them to exercise their civic responsibility by voting credible candidates at all levels, stressing the need for the electorate to be extra vigilant during the forthcoming elections.
He also solicited for their support by mobilizing all eligible voters in the council, to vote for General Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Ibrahim Shekarau and himself so that the commonman would continue to feel the positive impact of government on his life.
On development projects, Hon. Ayiye re-affirmed his readiness to ensure the execution of more projects that will better the lives of the people he represents.
Earlier speaking, the chairman of the association, Malam Tijjani Zaitawa had said that they were in the Assembly to register their appreciation over the good representation of Fagge people, especially the northern parts of the council area.
He pointed out that initially, the people of Fagge north were not benefiting from the projects being initiated by the member but after series of complaints, the member paved the way for the execution of more projects, hoping that the tempo will be maintained.
Malam Zaitawa also explained that their main concern now is how the council chairman will emerge from Fagge north, saying if arrangement will be made to that effect, no doubt they will vote for all ANPP representatives to continue in office.
He then prayed for the continuity of peaceful co-existence in the state and the country at large.
