Gezawa SOLAD praises Shekarau qualities

THE sole administrator of Gezawa local government area in Kano state, Alhaji Balarabe Hassan Karaye, has praised the sterling qualities of Governor Ibrahim Shekarau.
The sole administrator, who made the commendation while speaking to Daily Triumph in his office said, the commendation becomes necessary considering the state government’s far-reaching policies aimed at improving the welfare of work in the state.
He further observed that Kano needs people like Governor Shekarau who is transparent, accountable, prudent, an educationists, honest and above all God-fearing.
According to him, the first priority of the present administration of Governor Shekarau, is the introduction of human development programmes, youths empowerment, poverty eradication and ant-graft war.
Based on these few achievements, Alhaji Karaye said, people in the state particularly workers and pensioners assured Governor, Shekarau of their support for the governor’s second term to enable him continue with his laudable policies and programmes.
Speaking on the voter registration exercise, the sole administrator said his council is committed to ensuring house, to- house public awareness campaign on the importance of the exercise.
He said his council has provided enough funds and support towards ensuring the success of the exercise in order to achieve the desired objectives.
He, therefore, used the opportunity to express his appreciation for the warm reception he was accorded by workers, especially Director Personal Management (DPM), CPO and HOD as well as the entire staff of the council.
Alhaji Karaye also commended the district head of the area for his support and cooperation, adding that he met with the district, village and ward heads to educate them on the importance of the on- going voter registration exercise.
He then called the people of the area to support the state government by ensuring that it continue with its development programmes.
