By BALA ABUBAKAR
AN ANPP stalwart, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi Dambatta has described
the ANPP presidential flag bearer, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd)
as the only one to deliver the goods of democracy in the
country, in view of his honesty, good governance and
accountability.

General Buhari in the 2007 polls.

General Muhammadu Buhari is the only person that can deliver the
nation, considering what he had achieved when he served the
country on various capacities.
He enjoined Nigerians to team up themselves and ensure that,
General Muhammadu Buhari wins the general elections in 2007 for
the nation to forge ahead.
Alhaji Abdullahi Dambatta, reminded Nigerians, that job
creation, security, developmental programmes, accountability and
equity would be General Buhari’s priority, if elected in office
in 2007 and appealed to the people to rally round him to
succeed.
The ANPP supporter however spoke on the legacies of General
Muhammadu Buhari when he served the nation as minister of
petroleum, governor of Borno state, head of state and the
chairman of “Petroleum Trust Fund” where he urged Nigerians to
judge for themselves some of these legacies left by General
Muhammadu Buhari.
Alhaji Dambatta lamented that General Buhari is the most
credible candidate and most popular politician in the country
who has contributed immensely to the growth of democracy in
Nigeria.
According to him, General Buhari started his political carrier
from the ANPP and played a great role in moving the party ahead
and he had never been found wanting in any assignment given to
him.
