Danlami Hamza is our worthy
ambassador --Mamman Wapa
A MEMBER of the house of representatives, representing Fagge
federal constituency, Hon. Danlami Hamza has been described as a
worthy ambassador of his people, who considers the interest of
his constituency, as a of high political priority.
Making the remarks in a press statement issued to the media in
Kano, a Kano based political activist, Alhaji Mamman Ahmad Wapa
said, electing Hon. Hamza Into a two four-year- term in office
has vindicated the fact that, he was up and doing as a
legislator, who knows his onion, stressing that had he performed
below expectations, he wouldn’t have been reelected for the
second term in office.
“Anyone conversant with his political antecedent knows
that,Hon.Hamza won’t be counted among the bench warmers. He can
be bold and fearless, when it comes to fighting the course of
his people on the floor of the house. I can’t imagine how a
legislator, striving to protect his parochial interest should be
given such a daunting responsibility. Hon. Hamza has been an
exceptional political genius all the times,” the political
activist opined.
He also maintained that, under a sound and genuine democratic
dispensation, politicians of impeccable record and proven
integrity should be the ones to be allowed to dominate the
political lexicon in the interest of the entire citizens,
lamenting that Nigerian politics has been bastardized to serve
the interest of some self- centered individuals.
Commenting on the major contributions, rendered by Hon. Hamza to
the people of his constituency, the political activist further
revealed that, even his critics can attest to the fact that, he
had encouraged youths to acquire qualitative education, in
addition to empowering them to become self-reliant.
He added that, the legislator had also proved his mettle in
offering constructive advice to the Shekarau administration in
the past four years, adding that with this development so far,
the result had been marvelous and inspiring.
He called on the electorate to make a credible choice in 2007,
warning that repeating past mistakes would only spell doom for
the nation’s nascent polity.
