PLSG to redeem pledge to nvri

Governor Micheal Botmang was promised the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), Vom that it would redeem the N30 million pledged that was made during Governor Joshua Dariye administration.
Governor Botmang made this known when the board of directors and management of the institute paid him a visit in Jos. He said this would enable the institute overcome some of the challenges facing it.
He said the institute is a strategic institute based in the state, adding that the government would do everything possible within its limited resources to enable it achieve its mandate.
The governor further promised to extend the waterline from the NIPSS to Vom and called on the residents within and outside the state capital to bear with the current water situation.
He said the state water board has been directed to redouble efforts towards ensuring normalcy of water supply.
 Speaking earlier the board chairman of NVRI, Dr. Luke Ego Aneki told the governor that plans to hold an award night for its deserving staff have reached advanced stage. He urged the governor to visit the institution and commended him for maintaining peace since he assumed leadership adding that he is a promoter of peace.
