Obaseki assures clubs on league
Chairman of the Nigeria Football League NFL, Chief Oyuiki Obaseki
has assured of a level playing field for all clubs in the next
league season, Nigeriansportsonline.com can report.
Speaking at a seminar for the 52 clubs in the League in Abuja,
Obaseki said the stakes in the league are getting higher and the
race will keener, stressing that most matches will be beamed live to
keep everyone on its foes.
He frowned as a situation where team officials will not allow
television crew access into the field, warning that such clubs and
its officials will be heavily sanctioned.
Maintaining that the Nigeria Football League board has in the last
three weeks faced one of its stiffest test in its bid to take its
rightful place, Obaseki said the NFL had to contend with falsehood,
blackmail and intimidation but has remained resolute in this battle
as its convinced that its on the right track.<more>> |
