The state commissioner for agriculture and natural resources, Alhaji Ali Hussain, told newsmen in Katsina last Thursday that poultry farmers in the state are directed to report the outbreak of the disease to veterinary officers.
He said, a nine-member committee set up by the state government on bird flu has embarked on inspection of all poultry farms.
