NDLEA uncovers
Indian hemp depot

THE National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Katsina
state has discovered an Indian hemp depot which is being used
for distribution and selling of Indian hemp in the state.
The agency had succeeded in arresting six people alleged owners
of the Indian hemp depot and seized over 200 kilgrames.
Parading the suspect to newsmen, the agency acting commandant in
the state, Alhaji Lawan Hamisu said the depot was discovered
after an intensive surveillance by the operatives of the agency.
Alhaji Hamisu said the suspects including a woman will be
charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
He, however, added that three other suspects in the case are at
large.
“We want to warn landlords to be cautions of the activities of
their tenants to avoid harbouring bad eggs within the mix of
their children”, he added.
Alhaji Hamisu appealed to the people of the state to help the
agency in the fight against drug merchants. |
