CAF boss Hayatou for AWC
President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Issa Hayatou, is due Nigeria on Sunday ahead of the final matches of the 5th African Women's Championship taking place in Delta State.
According to the CAF secretariat, Hayatou, has also expressed his condolences to the government and people of Nigeria over the recent plane crash in Abuja in which prominent Nigerians including the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Maccido, lost their lives.
The semi-finals of the AWC will be played on November 7 while the final comes up four days later in Warri with the two finalists assured of qualification for the FIFA Women's World Cup in China next year.
