Crime fight: Emir Bayero lauds police command’s effort

THE Emir of Kano Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero has expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment of the Nigeria Police Force in ensuring free crime zone and peaceful coexistence in the state.
Alhaji Bayero who received the new commissioner of police to the state, Alhaji Muhammad J. Gana at his palace, called on the general public to continue to give the new commissioner maximum support and cooperation in order to achieve peace and security.
He also prayed to Allah to give the commissioner the wisdom to discharge his duties effectively and diligently.
Earlier speaking, the new state commissioner of police, Alhaji Muhammad J. Gana had said he was at the palace to introduce himself and also to solicit the emir’s support, as he reiterated his readiness to tackle crime rate in the state in order to enhance peaceful coexistence in the society.
Meanwhile, the emir has also received Nigerian Boys Scout led by Barr. Mujiburrahman. The emir assured of his resolve and blessed the choice of Chiroman Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi Ado Bayero as its patron.
Similarly, during yesterday’s sitting, the emir turbaned Malam Isa AbdulMalik as the Village Head of Baidawa in Dambatta Local Government Area and the Ward Head of ‘Yantandu, Malam Auwalu Isa of Dala Local Government Area.
The emir charged them to ensure the discharge of their duties effectively and be just and fair in administering people’s affairs.
