Eid-el-Kabir: Aliyu rejoices with Nigerlites

The Chief Servant and Governor of Niger state, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, (Talban Minna) rejoices with all citizens in Niger state on the occasion of the Id-el Kabir festival and urged the citizens of the state to imbibe the ideals of perseverance, sacrifice, commitment to the Will of Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim which is the corner-stone of the Id-el Kabir festival.
He congratulated Muslims and all Nigerlites who are alive to be part of the festival, saying that “we must thank Allah for sparing our lives to witness this special festival”.
He remind all that, “we are alive today only by Allah’s special grace and favour and not that we are in any way special before the Almighty.”
Governor Aliyu also called on citizens to be mindful of their service to humanity and by extension, service to Allah.
He said this underscores his principles and commitment to the ideals of servant leadership. By this, he said, he will serve the people to ensure that the electorate enjoy improved standard of living through the provision of relevant infrastructures and enabling environment.
The Chief Servant urged citizens to pray for and work towards peace, stability and progress of the state and for the safe return of pilgrims from the Holy Land .
He also used the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to the actualization of the state’s Vision 3:2020.
He, therefore, called on Nigerlites to support this endeavour by making meaningful contributions to ensure its realization.
