Engr. Gwarzo commission’s K/Dawaki amusement park

KANO state deputy governor has formally commissioned the Hills and Valleys Amusement Park and Holiday Resort situated along Kwanar Dawakin Kudu.
Commissioning the resort, Engr. Abdullahi T. Muhammad Gwarzo expressed appreciation with the efforts of the proprietor in contributing toward boosting tourism industry in the state.
Engr. Gwarzo pledged government’s resolve to encourage and support any individual or organisation that plans to establish Shariah compliant tourism industry in the state.
He personally pledged to be patronizing the resort with his families in order to serve as an encouragement to prospective investors in the sector.
Similarly, the deputy governor stressed that government will continue to provide a conducive atmosphere to the a tourism investors in the state, in terms of road networks portable drinking water, security, peaceful atmosphere and among others.
According, he assured government will partner with any individual wishing to invest in the tourism potentials in the state under the Private Partnership Participation (PPP).
Earlier, the state commissioner of commence and industries, Alhaji Ahmad Ibrahim Yakasai, had advised people to invest in the sector.
He commended the initiative of the proprietor for establishing and boosting tourism in the state.
Also speaking the proprietor of the resort, Air vice Marshal Abdurrahman Ishaq said his enterprises would from next year start organizing a quiz competition among primary schools in the state.
He explained that the resort had from 2007 to 2008 hosted over 280 schools in excursion to the resort, appealing to the state government to renovate the Kwanar Dawaki road to the local government headquarters.
