ES lauds council's commitment to educ devlpt By YAKUBU M. DANDAGO RANO local government education secretary, Kano state, Alhaji Auwalu Maigida has commended the effort of the council in the execution of development projects most especially in the education sector. He made the commendation while speaking to newsmen, according to him, taking care of teachers' needs, provision of teaching materials and renovation of dilapidated schools complex are clear testimonies to the efforts of the council. He said that the council's initiative assisted the teachers greatly, thus preventing them from taking loans from either the banks or individuals rather it paved ways for assisting those inneed. He further appealed to the teachers to reciprocate the good gesture by working hard for them to deliver what is expected of them, adding that, “you will be brought before your Creator to account for your deeds in the Hereafter.”
