FIFA rankings: Nigeria stay 5th in Africa
In a month where there was little activity on the international scene, Nigeria kept their position on the monthly FIFA rankings released on Wednesday.
The country was ranked 39th overall and fifth in Africa in April, and they remained there for the month of May.
Ghana remained top of the rankings for Africa, with Cameroon being one of only three movers in the African rankings. They moved up one place to 16th on the overall rankings, but stayed behind Ghana.
The other two movers were Guinea and Morocco, who also moved up one place on the world rankings but kept their places on the continent.
