Improved healthcare delivery is KNSG’s priority --Yakasai
THE Director-General, Hospitals Management Board, Kane state, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu Yakasai has re-affirmed the state government’s determina-tion to improve health care delivery to its teeming populace.
He made the statement while inspecting the completed general renovation of Kura General Hospital.
Dr. Yakasai explained that government is spending millions of Naira to ensure provision of qualityhealth care in the state, a statement signed by the board’s PRO, Sani Abba Yola has revealed.
He said the renovation which include the doctors staff quarters and which was well furnished, will serve as a motivation to health workers in the hospital, adding that lack of good accommodation make some of the health workers for going to rural areas.
The director-general expressed appreciation with the quality of work and commended the maintenance staff of the board for ensuring a job well done.
Conducting the director-general round, the Senior Medical Officer of Kura General Hospital, D. Achanya Ahmad commended the effort of the state government for renovating the hospital and praised the good leadership of the director general of the board.
Dr. Achanya urged health workers of the hospital to reciprocate the gesture of providing good working condition from the government by rededicating themselves to their work.
